Gold Label Shrimp Base is a perfectly delicious blend of primarily cooked shrimp, shrimp powder, potato flour, paprika, and sugar. This shrimp base is in the form of a paste. Widely used to give authentic shrimp flavor in sauces, stews, and soups. Keep refrigerated for best results. Includes six – 1 lb. tubs per case. Preparation Reconstitute - to prepare soup or broth, dissolve 1 lb. Of base in 4 gallons of boiling water. For a smaller quantity, dissolve 1-1/4 teaspoons of base in 8 fluid ounces of boiling water or 4 ounces of base in 1 gallon of boiling water. Storage Keep refrigerated for best quality. Store unopened jars at less than 80 f. Store no longer than 12 months.
